My Story, Mission, and Values
After nearly two decades in the metals and advanced materials industry, I founded this consultancy with a simple goal: to help innovative companies achieve sustainable commercial growth.
Throughout my career, I have worked across steel, aluminium, magnesium, titanium, and nickel alloy markets, supporting customers in aerospace, defence, automotive, and other high-performance industries.
I have seen first-hand that success is built on more than great products alone, it requires strong relationships, market insight, technical understanding, and a clear commercial strategy. My mission is to provide clients with the expertise, industry connections, and practical support needed to accelerate growth and unlock new opportunities.

A bit about me
With nearly 20 years of commercial leadership experience across high‑value metals and engineered materials, I bring deep expertise in driving growth within the aerospace, defence, automotive, and energy sectors.
I’ve built and scaled international business for leading materials organisations, specialising in magnesium, titanium, nickel alloys, and aerospace‑grade steels. My career blends strategic business development with hands‑on commercial execution — from opening new markets to managing complex Tier 1 defence and OEM relationships across the UK, Europe, and global territories.
Most recently, as Global Sales Growth Leader at Luxfer MEL Technologies, I was responsible for a ÂŁ22m advanced magnesium business, leading global sales strategy, distributor networks, and direct engagement with major defence primes including BAE Systems, Saab Dynamics, Rheinmetall, and MBDA. Before that, I led product group commercial strategy and marketing, growing revenues from ÂŁ1.5m to ÂŁ19m while maintaining strong margin performance.
Earlier roles at Tata Steel Speciality, Castle Metals UK, and Corus Group gave me a strong foundation in aerospace account management, export sales leadership, and market development across Europe and the Middle East.
I hold an MBA (Distinction), a BA (Hons) in Business & Marketing, and I’m a Chartered Manager (CMgr MCMI) — combining academic rigour with real‑world commercial execution.
Today, I apply this experience through a focused consultancy approach: helping materials science businesses unlock growth, build strategic customer relationships, and succeed in complex, high‑performance markets.
